Rob is a tax manager with the firm. He has thirty years experience in accounting, spending one year as a controller for a wholesale/retail company in the building material industry. The remainder of his experience has been with accounting firms, starting as an auditor focusing on local governments, recipients of federal grants, and non-profits. He later expanded his areas of work to include accounting, tax and IT services for a wide range of businesses and individuals. Since coming to Blackman & Sloop, CPAs, P.A., Rob has focused primarily on tax services. He currently resides in Durham and volunteers his services to several community and church organizations.
