Joan Pharr, President and "managing partner", has been with the Firm for over thirty years and concentrates her practice area in tax and retirement planning. She works extensively with high wealth individuals and family owned businesses, including significant experience with trusts and estates. She is a certified specialist in retirement planning. Joan resides in Chapel Hill where she raised two boys with her husband, Ron, and has spent much time serving not-for-profit organizations by sharing her time and talents on their directors' boards. In her spare time, you can find her on the golf course, traveling, or with a good book.
