Blackman & Sloop will be sponsoring this years Literacy Council Of Wake County’s ‘Read To Succeed BBQ’.

The Literacy Council of Wake County improves the lives of adults, youth, and families by teaching basic literacy and life skills for economic and social success. Their vision is to increase Wake County’s literacy rate as the County’s key provider of literacy services and referrals.

Support the Literacy Council of Wake County and join in the fun by attending this year’s Read to Succeed BBQ Feed.  The event will take place on Saturday, June 4th from 4-7pm at the Lake Wheeler Waterfront Conference Center.  This is a fun-filled family event featuring BBQ from The Q Shack, bluegrass music by The Kudzu Ramblers, and a silent auction outside overlooking the lake!
