Carrboro Century Center – 11 AM
Eyes Ears Nose and Paws trains and places assistance dogs with individuals with disabilities. Their Service Dogs assist people with mobility impairments.
Help celebrate their second client and dog team graduation. Graduation will be held at 11am on Saturday, August 20th in Century Hall at the Carrboro Century Center, following the team’s completion of a two-week Client Training Camp. Graduation is free and open to the public.

The Durham Young Professionals, a program of the Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce, is a dynamic group of individuals under age 40 who are dedicated to civic participation, professional and personal growth, and have a shared interest in Durham as a place to live, work and play. Since its inception in March 2008, DYP has grown to more than 300 individuals. The group is also a way for the Durham Chamber to cultivate Durham’s future leaders and provide them with professional development and networking opportunities to encourage their personal growth.

The Carolina Inn, Chapel Hill, NC 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Plan on attending the glittering star studded event of the summer! Dancing with the Stars of Carolina is a fundraising event to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Chapel Hill. Sponsorships are available as well as tickets to attend. Proceeds will go towards raising $250,000 to open the Club to serve youth in the Chapel Hill Carrboro Community.
