Communities In Schools of Orange County, Inc. (CISOC) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization addressing the multiple needs of youth at highest risk of educational, social, and economic failure. Their First Annual CIS Fall Classic For Youth Golf Tournament is designed to help raise awareness and funds toward this goal.

Chapel Hill Country Club

Members from Blackman & Sloop (Neely McLaughlin, Carla Daniel, Joan Pharr) will be participating in the North Carolina Subway Group Pro-Am Scramble on Monday, September 27^th at Chapel Hill Country Club.  Since 1996, the Subway family throughout our state has been awarding “Subway Scholarships” to sandwich artists in North Carolina through the Peter S. Slomianyj Scholarship Fund.

The fund helps pay the rising cost of books and tuition for Subway employees seeking a higher education. The success of the scholarship fund is providing a bright future for Subway employees and their children.

We will be attending as representatives at this years NCACPA Emerging Leaders Conference. The conference is designed to help CPAs develop the critical skills and competencies to achieve long-term success.
