Blackman & Sloop is a sponsor at this years N.C. Center for Nonprofits ‘Accounting Boot Camp 101: Get a grip on the basics’ session.
This Workshop event will feature basic budgeting concepts, an introduction to the Form 990, and an overview to better understand a chart of accounts. Fundamentals of basic accounting topics will also be covered. Your presenters will be Deetra Watson from Blackman & Sloop, CPAs, P.A., as well as Karen Stanley from Langdon & Company LLP. This is a great training for small business owners looking to get a handle on accounting for their business.
Registration is $35 for Center Members, $50 for Center Associates and Sustainers, and AENC members, and $100 for non-Members. It is free for Rowan County nonprofits attending the Salisbury Boot Camp, supported by The Blanche & Julian Robertson Family Foundation (registration form still required).
